Happy Halloween to you!

Since no photos were shown of our deceased classmates during reunion weekend, at your request, I will add those photos to the website later this month.
This is a big month for BTW football fans. The homecoming game is Friday, October 26th against the Carver Cobras. If you're in town and looking for excitement, show your Warrior spirit by supporting the team and representing the Class of '72. The game will be played at the school. Ahhh…such sweet memories!

Warrior of the Month: Crystal Rodgers Porter
Classmate Crystal Rodgers Porter is first a faithful child of God and puts all of her trust in the Lord to lead her in every aspect of her life. She is an active member of Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church which is led by Pastor Frank Thomas. Crystal is divorced with three children - two daughters and one son. On November 16, 2006 she became a first-time grandmother to sweet little Cayliss. (What a beautiful name for a little girl!)
In High School Crystal was very friendly, smartly dressed, and always had a huge smile on her face. She was the enthusiastic Vice President of the Barbettes Social Club. She is a graduate of the former Memphis State University (University of Memphis). In addition, she is a member of AKA sorority and a founding member of the new graduate chapter of AKA, Phi Lambda.
For the past 20 years Crystal has worked professionally as a Domestic Violence Counselor, with ten of those years performing that same service as an employee of the Memphis Police Department. Moreover, to satisfy her thriving entrepreneurial spirit, Crystal recently started an online travel agency, Dream Now Travel, a spectacular agency with great service. It provides a variety of booking services, but focuses mostly on travel. The web address to book travel through Crystal is dreamnowtravel.com. Many of you will be planning cruise trips or vacations to Canada or other areas around the world where a passport is required. As you know, obtaining a passport through normal channels takes approximately six weeks (at best); however, a passport can be obtained through Crystal's agency within 24 hours.
